Electrolysis New to spa Cottage!! Excessive hair growth can be a real source of embrassement for both male and female clients. At last there is treatments available on the market, that can be virtually permanent. Electrolysis is the most effective treatment for smaller areas or for grey or white hairs. What is Electrolysis? Electrolysis is a proven method of hair removal, the treatment involves the insertion of a fine probe into the hair follicle, to the root. A mild current is then passed down through the probe to the tip, this cauterises the hair root, enabling us to remove the hair without tweezering. The treatment is generally described as a mild sting, but only lasts for a few seconds. You may experience slight redness after the treatment, however this will only last a few hours. we do retail soothing lotions for home use. The treatment plan can vary for every client, the results of this treatment is progressive, this means that after each treatment the hair grows back finer, taking longer to return, until eventually the hair doesn't grow back at all.
